LOSDI has created a Sustainable Innovation System within the framework of the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda of the UN for a better integration of our business activity in the environment that surrounds us.
Recent years have shown the need to change the social and environmental situation in which the planet finds itself. The pandemic we are experiencing has put the world into a health, economic and social crisis, demonstrating the urgency of the implementation of corrective measures by civil society, public authorities and, above all, the private sector.
From our beginnings, at LOSDI we have always shown a special interest in integrating our company into the environment that surrounds it in a sustainable way. For this reason, and to go a step further in the social and sustainable development of our company, we have decided to adhere to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations, defining a long but satisfactory path towards building a better world.
The Sustainable Development Goals, also known as SDGs, are a UN-led initiative that seeks to address issues vital to the proper development of the planet, such as climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice.
For this year 2022 at LOSDI we have decided to take concrete actions to contribute in achieving the following objectives: SDG 3 Health and Welfare, SDG 9 Industry, innovation and infrastructure, SDG 12 Responsible production and consumption and SDG 13 Climate action. Each month, we will present to you the action plan to which we commit to meet those goals and contribute responsibly to the global compact.
